We have become a wasteful society, and regularly discard something because it is old, shabby, not of use to us any more or not fashionable. The result is landfill sites are filling-up with items that shouldn’t be there.
Here at Second Bloom Furnishings, we take on these pieces and give them a new lease of life. Remember: one man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure!
Here are two pieces we recently upcycled to go in the office of a lovely lady. She is delighted with them and now has furniture that reflects her personality and business. More importantly, these pieces have been given a second life and are now solid, functional furniture in use every day.

Here are just some of the thoughts which most people express about old furniture or clothing...
“I don’t want to get rid of that because it has sentimental value, but it so doesn’t fit with our new décor.”
